Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Signal Circuit is a high-energy relay-style sport that combines obstacle navigation with real-time communication. One teammate runs the course while another watches from an elevated view and gives them visual or auditory signals to guide them through surprise challenges.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Obstacle course elements (cones, barriers, tunnels, balance beams)
- Walkie-talkies or color-coded signal flags/cards
- Stopwatch
- Elevated viewing stand or remote video feed
- Blindfolds (for advanced variation)

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- Modular obstacle course with 5–8 sections
- Viewing station set apart from the course
- Labeled challenge zones (e.g., "jump", "crawl", "turn")

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- 2–3 runners (one active at a time)
- 1 signaler (stationed remotely)
- 1 referee/scorekeeper
- 1 timer

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Navigate the obstacle course as fast as possible using only non-verbal signals or designated communication methods from your partner.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Teams rotate runners through the course, guided by their signaler.
2. Communication is restricted to approved methods (e.g., flag colors or walkie code).
3. Time penalties for each missed obstacle or incorrect path taken.
4. Fastest total time after 3 complete runs wins.
5. No speaking allowed unless using walkie mode; judge enforces signal method.
6. Only 1 runner on the course at a time.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Silent Run**: Only visual cues allowed
- **Night Ops**: Flashlights or glow signals in a dim course
- **Blind Run**: Runner is blindfolded and must rely fully on teammate
- **Sabotage Option**: Teams can activate an extra obstacle for opponents at a cost

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Signal interpretation accuracy
- Time-to-complete per obstacle
- Miscommunication count
- Signal latency
- Penalty frequency

---

**NOTES**
Signal Circuit builds trust and teamwork through creative, adaptive thinking. Great for school group activities, charity events, and mobile obstacle pop-ups. Encourages precision, trust, and thinking under pressure.
